Avid Quicktime Codecs LE 2.3.8

Avid Codecs LE allow systems to encode and decode QuickTime movies and references using Avid codecs. Avid has designed the codec to export and import quickly, as fast as four times the real playlength of the source material. Avid QuickTime codecs support "fast import,'' as long as the import settings are properly configured; Avid codecs might import far more quickly than other QuickTime codecs. QuickTime is Apple's equivalent of Video for Windows for the Macintosh. Apple also makes QuickTime for Windows. QuickTime also refers to the QuickTime movie file format, a widely used format for digital audio, video and other multimedia.

The Avid QuickTime Codecs LE v2.3.8 includes all of the codecs supported by Media Composer 6.5, Symphony 6.5 and NewsCutter 10.5.
