CodecViewer 1.5

CodecViewer is little program that tells you what audio and video codec you need for an avi file. You are continually installing codecs in your PC because you need them to view certain videos correctly, or to listen to audio. But there comes a time when you have no idea which codecs you have or don`t have. For this reason a program like Codec Viewer is highly useful. If you want to watch a movie and don't know which codec you need to be able to do this, then CodecViewer is the tool you need.

Codec Viewer shows you all the codecs, both audio and video, installed in your PC. You can also see which ones are codifying a file: just select any file (an AVI video, for example) and you will see the information on the codecs you need. Codec Viewer is a totally free utility.
