DiAVC H.264 Decoder 1.2.6/1.2 64-bit

Netbooks aren't famed for their high-definition video playing prowess, but if you've got about $10 and a few minutes going spare, there is a way to enjoy H.264 high-definition trailers and H.264 videos on your Atom-powered portable. You'll need two things: a copy of Media Player Classic Home Cinema, and DiAVC H.264 Decoder which you can purchase for the princely sum of $9.90.

DiAVC is a very fast multithreaded AVC decoder, that supports MBAFF, PAFF, and all other commonly encountered flavors of AVC video. It's now the fastest software H.264 decoder in the World, and can comfortably play 720p HD video on a 1.6Ghz Atom.

Installing DiAVC H.264 Decoder:
There isn't a setup program for the trial version yet. So if you want to try it out

1. Download DiAVC H.264 Decoder (trial version)
2. Copy diavc.ax in system32 folder [ C:WINDOWSsystem32 ]
3. Click on Start > Run...

- To install the file, type: regsvr32 diavc.ax
- To uninstall the file, use: regsvr32 -u diavc.ax

To check it's working, try playing an H.264 file with Media Player Classic, right click the playing movie and choose 'Filters', you should see "DiAVC H.264 Decoder" listed. Another compatible video player is the KMPlayer.

DiAVC 32-bit is a shareware product. If you want to use DiAVC, you will have to buy it from the DiAVC website or you can try it free for a limited period using the download links below. DiAVC 64-bit is completely free for non-comercial and personal use. No ads or time limitation.
