Equalizer APO 1.1.2
Equalizer APO is a parametric equalizer for Windows. It is implemented as an Audio Processing Object for the system effect infrastructure introduced with Vista. It doesn't use ASIO and doesn't require any tricks to get it to work. Any Windows audio will be equalized including Itunes, Windows Media Player, games, anything so long as it doesn't bypass the Windows driver. IE WASAPI or ASIO would bypass the equalizer as well. While Equalizer APO is a really awesome piece of software, it lacks a configuration GUI. You have to download and install a third-party GUI program like PC Equalizer or PEACE that takes the command-line hassle off you.
Changes in Equalizer APO 1.1.2:
Fixed: When a file was selected for the Include command in the Configuration Editor that was not readable by the audio service, no warning appeared.
Fixed: When the Include command was used to load the configuration file itself or another file including the file, Equalizer APO could crash. The recursion depth is now limited to 100.
Added: High DPI support for the Configuration Editor. Icons and proportions should look better now when DPI scaling is used.
Fixed: The GUI for the Channel command was showing the wrong channels as selected when channel numbers were used instead of names.
Fixed: When a file was selected for the Convolution command in the Configuration Editor that was not readable by the audio service, no warning appeared.
