GrooveWalrus is a standalone music player which offers support for two widely used online music services - Last.fm and Grooveshark. GrooveWalrus utilizes the vast database of available songs of both services in its own stand-alone music player. Local songs and folders can be added and included in the search which means it is possible to use the music player even without Internet connection. GrooveWalrus comes with plugins, such as, Flash to play music from Dizzler /GrooveShark, Lyrics to view lyrics of song being played, and Web Remote plugin to remotely control its function over web. The player displays biographic information about the current artists as well as album art and related information directly in its interface. The program also allows you to manage your Last.fm account, and send your playlists via RSS.
