MakeMKV 1.8.10 Beta

MakeMKV is a handy, easy-to-use ''transcoder'' that enables you to convert DVD movies into MKV (a.k.a. Matroska) files. The only thing it does (and does well) - it converts the video clips from proprietary (and usually encrypted) disk into a set of MKV files, preserving most information but not changing it in any way. The MKV format can store multiple video/audio tracks with all meta-information and preserve chapters. There are lots of players that can play MKV files nearly on all platforms. DVD is fully supported with support for non-matching regions and ability to process disks with "structure copy protection". The program preserves all video and audio tracks (including HD audio), as well as chapter information, meta data. MakeMKV is easy to use, it automatically detects your DVD and all you have to do is click a button to start the copy process. MakeMKV can also use Video_TS folders or ISO files as input source. The program also includes a streaming server that enables you to stream a DVD to your Xbox or other compatible devices. The free version is limited to DVDs, a paid version is available that supports Blu-ray discs.

What's new in this version:
Improved handling for discs with mastering errors
Greatly improved conversion speed for multi-segment titles
Small miscellaneous improvements
Bug fixes: During streaming, program could crash randomly
Bug fixes: When changing preferences, program could crash randomly
Fixes for 1.8.9 regressions:
DVD: some titles were missing (incorrectly identified as fakes)
Blu-ray: discs missing JAR directory failed to open
