Media Preview is a free and handy application which allows you to view thumbnails previews of almost all (and unsupported) video formats in Windows Explorer. By default, Windows only supports the media file formats developed by Microsoft or for QuickTime, and ignores other popular media formats. Third-party media players fill the gap in terms of playback but usually let the preview functionality on the side-road. Media Preview is here to bring to your computer the full preview capabilities for all of your media files. This small tool works on all Windows versions including Windows 8 (32 bit and 64 bit). The supported video formats by Media Preview includes 3GP, 3G2, AVI, AMV, DIVX, FLV, F4V, MKV, WEBM, MPG, MPEG, M1V, M2V, OGM, OGV, MP4, M4V, MPV4, TS, TP, MTS, MOV, RM, VOB, EVO & WMV. Media Preview is powered by Libavcodec, the leading audio/video codec library under the LGPL v3.
