TX264 is a GUI for x264, FFmpeg, FAAC, NeroAACEnc (Nero AAC Codec), QAAC, OGGENC2 and Aften. It offers simple but powerful options to encode your videos to mp4 or mkv containers with h264 video and aac, ogg or ac3 audio. If source file contains subtitle, this will be extracted to the destination. x264 is a freeware library that will enable users to easily encode H264/AVC video streams. In terms of quality for general-purpose encoding, x264 outperforms every other video encoder on the market. x264 is extraordinarily fast, with over 15,000 lines of assembly code and highly optimized algorithms. x264 not only outperforms most CPU-based encoders, but also most GPU-based ones as well. Running x264 is simply cheaper -- more throughput on less hardware. x264 has a huge variety of features to suit almost every possible use-case, ranging from television broadcast to application streaming and videoconferencing. TX264 is a easy-to-use application specially designed to offer users a GUI for the x264 codec.
