Did you buy Windows x64 but find that almost nothing will play in MediaCenter? Do you want to watch your favorite video's in MediaCenter? This package is tested on Windows Ultimate x64. It is a fully functional addon which may be included in an unattended environment using the switch -ai. The Shark007 codec releases are the only supported 32bit packages to use in conjunction with this installation. You will experience reduced functionality using any other package. Windows x64 is required for installation. These Windows 7 codecs contain x64 versions of the Haali media splitters. When dealing with codecs, more does not equal better. Having the least amount on your system is the best configuration. This is exactly what the Shark's Codec Packages do for you. Windows MediaPlayer and MediaCenter will be able to play all your files.

MKV playback is fully supported in x64 Media Center on all versions of Windows. To setup FLAC audio playback in Windows Media Center you must initially select the x64 WMP as the default player. For Windows 7 Media Center users, this can be set back to the 32bit afterwards.

Note: The setup includes a 3rd party toolbar. You should pay attention to avoid installing unwanted products.
