Codec Tweak Tool 6.7.3

Codec Tweak Tool is a standalone, portable utility designed to troubleshoot and fix media playback problems. It has the ability to scan, detect and remove broken VFW/ACM codecs and DirectShow filters and splitters, or reset incorrect codec configurations. If the tool detects something that is broken, it will prompt you with the details and you will be given the option to remove the broken item. Codec Tweak Tool allows you to easily enable and disable many commonly used codecs and DirectShow filters (over 250 if they are installed), generate a detailed log of all installed codecs and filters, reset settings to recommended values for popular codecs and DirectShow filters, backup the settings of several codecs and DirectShow filters, fix non working system sound, enable or disable the generation of thumbnails for several common video formats in Windows Explorer and lists all 32-bit, 64-bit DirectShow filters, ACM/VFW and DirectX Media Objects, and more.
