MP3ext 3.4.25

MP3ext is a shell extension for the Windows Explorer and adds support for MP3 files: new Property-Page, Icon handler, ToolTips. This version of MP3ext is now fully compatible with Windows 7 - 32 and 64 bit operating systems. It doesn't work with Windows 8 and Windows 10! Once installed, MP3ext enables you to fully edit the ID3-Tags, export the MP3 information in a file or copy it to clipboard, edit multiple MP3 files, automatically generate the ID3-tag from the filename.

MP3ext troubleshooting
Some people have reported problems (no icons, no tool tips) with certain players being the default program for MP3 files (e.g. Winamp). If you install the player software after MP3ext and the default program for MP3 gets changed you need to register mp3ext.dll again:

- open a command line with admin rights
- regsvr32 mp3ext.dll
