Picasa Desktop is a complex, multi-purpose software application for PC that serves for viewing, organizing and editing digital photos. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names you will recognize. Picasa offers several photo editing features that enable you to apply image adjustments, corrections, special effects, color enhancement, red eye reduction, and cropping. Other features include photo slideshow and timeline view, photo printing, image collages, photo email, image tags and much more. Packed with an impressive feature set, Picasa supports Google's WebP image format as well as the JPG format and most Raw image format (DNG, CRW, RAF, DCR, KDC, NEF, NRW..etc). You can view and edit RAW files and save the finished edit (as JPG, or other forms) without any changes to the original RAW file. Picasa also supports the following audio-video formats: mpg, mod, mmv, tod, wmv, asf, avi, divx, mov, m4v, 3gp, 3g2, mp4, m2t, m2ts, mts, mkv, wma and mp3.
