SuperViou is a super-easy tool that lets you convert old 4:3 aspect ratio videos (the squarish format from older TVs) into a widescreen 16:9 format for modern screens.

Unlike typical video converters that stretch everything equally (often making videos look weird and squished), SuperViou uses “dynamic scaling.” This technique stretches just the edges of the video, keeping the center—where most of the action is—looking normal. So, you get a widescreen video without any awkward distortions, making it perfect for YouTube, widescreen TVs, and social media.

SuperViou is built using FFmpeg to ensure high-quality video output. The interface is clean and simple, so anyone can use it—even without technical know-how. SuperViou supports popular video formats like MP4, MOV, AVI, and converts everything into MP4 for easy sharing and playback on any device. In a few clicks, SuperViou gives you a fast, simple way to turn your old 4:3 videos into 16:9 widescreen format without messing up the way they look.

SuperView is a backup for SuperViou. It converts 4:3 videos to 16:9 by stretching the sides and keeping the center. Use it if SuperViou isn’t working. SuperView needs FFmpeg, but SuperViou includes it. If you see "FFMPEG failed to start, exit code 1," add an extension like "video.MP4" to the filename.

To make SuperView work, extract the FFmpeg-release-full 7ZIP file in the same folder!
