Kakapo is an Open Source ambient sound mixer software built for relaxation. Kakapo can improve your focus and boost your productivity. It operates in the background allowing you to work while receiving the soothing benefits of nature's soundscapes. Kakapo helps to relax, distracts from the busy city rhythm, improves mood, protects against disturbing noises, relieves stress, creates a pleasant ambience, helps to sleep and just gives the opportunity to once again enjoy the sounds of nature. There are themes for every taste: rain, bonfire, chimes, leaves, waves, birds, storm, cozy, thunder, white noise, fan, cat purring, Paris cafe...and others. Each sound can be previewed and there is a slider for volume control. You can also create your own playlists from YouTube and SoundCloud files/urls. Block out annoying noises and create the right environment for working or relaxing. Relax and concentrate better, ideal to relax, sleep or concentrate.
