MakeMKV 1.17.7

MakeMKV is a free software that converts DVDs and Blu-rays to MKV files, preserving audio and video quality without re-encoding, allowing playback on various devices.

It converts the video clips from proprietary (and usually encrypted) DVD, Blu-ray, UHD and AVCHD discs into a set of MKV files, preserving most information but not changing it in any way.

There are many players that can play MKV files nearly on all platforms, and there are tools to convert MKV files to many formats, including DVD and Blu-ray discs. Can utilize Video_TS folders or ISO files as its source input. MakeMKV handles both DVD and Blu-ray discs, even the newest protected Blu-rays like AACS and BD+.

It ensures the preservation of all content, such as video and audio tracks, chapters, and meta-information like track language and audio type.
