spwave 0.8.5-1

Open-source, portable audio file editor with support of reading and writing plenty of file types, including WAV, AIFF, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, WMA, AU/SND, PARIS, NIST, RMP, Monkey's Audio (.ape) and Raw files (8bits PCM, 16bits PCM, 24bits PCM, 32bits PCM, 32bits float PCM, 64bits double PCM, ulaw, alaw). Audio editing operations are very similar to other audio editors. You can amplify audio, for instance, fade it in or out, gain adjustment, swap channels, convert the sampling frequency and the bits/sample of a file, play, zoom, crop, delete, or extract a selected region. There are numerous other options available in spwave including the ability to edit file information that supports comments of WAV and AIFF, and ID3 tag of MP3, analyze a selected region using several analysis types, e.g. spectrum, smoothed spectrum, phase, unwrapped phase and group delay or extract Waveform by drag & drop. spwave goes further too, incorporating functionality such as autosaving of selected regions (you can do this by drag & drop also), saving positions and regions as labels, viewing some waveforms and setting regions synchronously. The list is almost endless. The program does not need to be installed, and can run from a USB drive. spwave is available in English as in Japanese.
