TechSmith Screen Capture Codec 9.0.1.0

TechSmith Screen Capture Codec (TSCC) is a lossless video codec designed specifically for video screen capture (screencasts). Since the TSCC is lossless, it preserves 100% of the image quality, fast compression speeds, and great video quality compression. It may be used for making software presentations, video tutorials, recording video from games. TSC2 compresses screen casts into the AVI format or QuickTime File Format (MOV), without affecting the quality of the image or video regardless of the color depth.

The TSCC codec is not part of the standard Microsoft distributed codecs. TSCC.exe is freely available and freely redistrubutable. A small installer is available separately to install just the codec ahead of running the TSCC encoded screen movies if required. The up-to-date versions are available for download below. Note that Administrator user rights are required to install the codec on Windows NT, Windows 2000, XP or later.

The first (TSCC Codec) TechSmith Screen Capture Codec installer available for download below contains both 32-bit and 64-bit files. When you run the installer, it detects if you’re running a 64-bit OS, and automatically installs the 64-bit version of TSCC codec. Otherwise, the 32-bit version is installed.

TechSmith Screen Codec v2 (TSC2) 3.3
The TechSmith Screen Codec v2 (TSC2) is included with Camtasia. Download this decoder to play an AVI or MOV file that is encoded with TSC2 on a system where Camtasia is not installed.

TechSmith EnSharpen 2.0.1.0
EnSharpen decoder is needed when you want to play QuickTime videos that were encoded with EnSharpen.
