Koepi's XviD Codec 1.3.2

XviD is an open source video codec just like DivX. Most new movies and videos are being encoded with XviD. The XviD Codec is needed to play movies encoded by XviD. Xvid is not a video format, it is a program (codec) for compressing and decompressing to the MPEG-4 ASP format. Its purpose is to compress video in order to allow for faster transmission over computer networks or for more efficient storage on computer disks. Hence, Xvid can somewhat be seen as a ZIP for video. XviD works on most modern DVD players, Wndows Media Player and a host of other media playing devices. XviD offers more sharpness in the picture detail and overall a better performance. XviD, in contrast to DivX, is available for free. Once installed, you'll be able to play XviD encoded files in Windows Media Player, MPC-HC or any over compatible XviD player.
